The long awaited ending of lost, finally at hand. Now the ending was released in 2 episodes aired simultaneously with the title Will the End Satisfy? The episode aired prior to the finally were backbones, they explained and answered questions about the characters that were otherwise a mystery.
But will the ending satisfy lost fans everywhere?

So what is lost? For those of you who never watched this show, it's a mysterious, fun, disturbing and sometimes idiotic show that makes you keep on wondering.

So to give a short summary:
The show is centered around a mysterious island where a plane crashes, Oceanic flight 815. On this flight are passengers that survive the crash, in the beginning of the show the most central figures are Jack, Sawyer, Kate, John Locke and some others. Jack is referred to as the leader for sometime because he takes care of the survivors, etc. Not to go too deep into it or else this will become on long summary. In this season all the mysteries were unraveled and the characters learn to know themselves on a whole new level.
But this season is centered around a mysterious figure that took on the form of the deceased John Locke (sufficated by Benjamin Linus).
This figure however is said to be pure evil and can turn into black smoke and kill anything in its path, the only thing it couldn't kill was Jacob, the island' protector and the one who brought the passengers of Oceanic flight 815 to the island. Jacob however is killed by Benjamin, tricked into it by fake Locke.
So now the others have to take on the destiny set out for them by Jacob, to make sure the Locke never leaves the island. Easier said then done when your fighting something that cannot be killed!
So Jacob comes for from his ashes to choose he's predecessor and Sheppard volunteers.
I hope you can follow a little now.

Now to move on. The ending didn't please me as much as I wanted, from the beginning Lost was a show that made your keep on pondering what was going to happen. Now when I watch tv I like to be brain dead and let the show explain everything to me. So Lost wasn't really a show that I would normally like, but after watching the first season it got me hooked. It made me wanna follow and think in hopes of being able to know everything when getting closer to the end. But I think they made too many holes to fill and explain. Maybe this was there intention, I don't know. But the final episode was somewhat weak to me. It didn't answer all the questions I had even tho it wasn't supposed to.
One can argue that the show ended too soon but when you go on a 6 year roller coaster your bound to get fed up with it.

I think that the point of the show was a sort of promotion for humanism, at the end the show pointed out that his friends where the most important part of his life and that they created a place where they could find each other. It also pointed out that people who are lost in life need a purpose, need to fulfill something, strive to a certain goal. Lost also taught us certain life lessons, like loyalty,... It showed us that people can be deceitful and asinine, but whatever the case they all come through when common interests are found.
Now that's the way I look at it, so don't troll on my vision but share yours.
